That's it really. I've been a bit depressed in recent years and hiding away and now I'm feeling better and I want to live life fully, get out and about more and I want to look more put together!

Need some suggestions for complete outfits please , ideally that will balance out my large thighs and bum. I'm a 12 on top 14 on bottom.

What are people wearing?? I'm so confused

Thank you!

🧶❓

We have no idea if you’re dressing to take toddlers to soft play, lunching at the Ritz or addressing the UN!

I do apologise - mostly this is just school run, hanging out with my 3 year old and the odd work meeting and socialising which means a pub lunch or similar. I am a health professional so nothing too glam needed. Just vaguely stylish I guess.

School run, etc:

Uniqlo

Work meetings:

Community Clothing

Socialising:

Maison Hotel

Everything:

& Other Stories

You’d be an ideal model for wide shouldered jackets. And tall boots will make all your skirts and dresses look sleek.

Could be wrong with some - but hopefully at least one of them will appeal to you.

Say if you’d prefer a little more extravagance.

Oh - forgot, the fun element:

Splash out on a hat or scarf from here and everything else you wear can be as simple as anything, you’ll still look marvellous. And like someone ready to enjoy life.

I think jumper dresses with a belt would look nice. https://www.newlook.com/uk/womens/clothing/dresses/sunshine-soul-pink-knit-turtle-neck-jumper-dress/p/911410973

I know it's not popular on here, but I quite like Lookiero as an easy starting point for some new ideas. The more you engage with it, the better the experience: so answer the questions and do the daily style pick game; plus write some comments for the stylist and upload photos of items you have already that you like. You can also do some swaps once the box is ready for despatch.

It's not perfect, but it's low commitment and gives you a few ideas
