I'd wear similar to what I'd wear out for dinner. Unless there's a specific disco theme.

But I want to look good not like I’m at a garden centre

I'd wear great jeans, a great top possibly something one-shouldered, decorative by which I mean with a ruffle, sequins, etc etc. On my feet, probably a pair of block-heeled pumps, my Celine shoe boots or something equally comfy. I might even wear a pair of Converse. Last time I went to something like this, I wore this top, high waisted jeans and a pair of Toga Pulla shoes.

Ultimately, it's a disco. Anything goes, so if you want to dress up or just wear a few sparkles, do it!

Wear sequins then. You won't be the only one. Some people will be in jeans and goodies. Some will be in sequined tops and dresses and a hundred other options.

I wore jeans and a glittery top from Oliver Bonas when I went to a silent disco recently, wedge trainers. It was in a church, cold to start with but warmed up. Amazing evening, I hope you enjoy it.
