Something to fix/prevent scuff marks on toddlers shoes

Hello,

Looking for suggestions on how to prevent/fix scuffed toes on my toddler's shoes. We are wearing through a pair of shoes each fortnight, as the scuffs become big holes. This happens at nursery, as she loves playing on a balance bike, dragging her toes on the floor.

I was thinking some sort of tape? It doesn't need to look pretty - just stay on and be waterproof.

Photo attached of latest shoes that are a week old....

Thanks for any tips :)

My older child does this at school - I think they do or they don’t! Though im loathe to spend much money for that reason I do think there’s a false economy in cheap shoes if you have a hardy kid. Also can you avoid woven trainer material at all?

I used to get leathery shoes with big rubber bumpers on the toes - and we had a balance bike with a brake!

You need the shoes with rubber toes. Clarks or Start-rite.
