I have just had another problematic cut from my regular stylist. I've been going to her for more than 15 years and she used to be amazing, however this is the third appointment in a row that I've been disappointed. Too short, bits sticking out, just awful.
I was looking at old photos and noticed that my hair looked better in lockdown after no cut for months than it has done since! I had gorgeous beachy waves four months after the last cut and it stayed looking good until it was cut again. I also noticed that she was doing the odd bad cut through 2018 and 2019.
My hair type may have changed, it's not quite do thick as I get older, but surely a professional should recognise that and change how they cut it?!
I have messaged her to cancel my next two appointments and think I will just let it grow again for a few months. Can anyone recommend a YT tutorial to help me cut my fringe as it needs it. I do have some professional quality scissors. Hair is wavy 2a/b curl type, or it is when it hasn't been hacked at 😔
