Dyson hairdryer

TangerineLoverNotAFighter · 06/10/2024 12:37

My hairdryer has broken.

I’m looking at the Dyson Supersonic, but before I drop serious dosh on it, I want to make sure it’s worth it.

Priorities are;

Minimising heat damage
Reducing frizz

I had one, it was great...now I have the ghd one...also great, and a lot cheaper 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've had mine for eight years, think I bought it the first week they came out. I still love it and my hairs in great condition

LesLavandes · 06/10/2024 14:01

Love mine

babasaclover · 06/10/2024 15:04

Get the air styler instead it has a hairdryer attachment and the newest ones series 2 I think have a flyaway attachment which makes it so so smooth and no damage. Honestly game changer

I hate Dyson vacuum cleaners and returned a fan as it was rubbish but I have to say the hairdryer is excellent.

I had tje Dyson for about 4 years then it broke... now after lots of research got a Parlux which apparently lasts for years and seems vv powerful and tames my frizz.

I have the Dyson air wrap and after a lifetime of never being able to manage my hair I now can

TangerineLoverNotAFighter · 06/10/2024 19:37

I’d love a Dyson Airwrap, but it doesn’t work on some hair.

I had a demo in the shop and it fell out by the time they’d done the other side.

The Dyson hairdryer is amazing!
Just be prepared to take it on every holiday with you as you'll never tolerate a crappy hotel dryer ever again 😂

A Dyson makes my hair look like straw, I'm a Parlux fan, they are excellent at taming frizz as is Morrocon oil smoothing cream.
