Can anyone recommend a body oil? I've been using a Nuxe one. It absorbs quickly and smells pleasant but I don't find it very moisturising or softening. I know body lotions tend to moisture well but I fancy trying another oil, I like experimenting with products.

EV olive oil. Perfumed with whatever essential oils appeal. I can’t imagine choosing to use anything else.

Aveeno do a nice one!

I've got a Morrocanoil one that smells utterly divine. It's expensive but has lasted me for ages

I love the Chanel No 5 body oil. It has a lovely subtle fragrance.

E'spa - especially the detoxifying one. Love the scent. I'm sure they do a "selection box" so you could test a few.

I know what you mean about the nuxe oil, but they do a "riche" version which I find much better and is my favourite.
A cheaper option that I like a lot, is No7 body oil spray. A friend gave it to me because she wasn't keen on the fragrance (mellow floral and a bit woodsy), but I like it and purchased more when it ran out.

I use the Palmer's Cocoa Butter one with shea. I have very dry skin and put it on after a shower. It takes a few minutes to absorb but by the time I've brushed my teeth and towel dried my hair it's soaked in and doesn't leave a weird residue. Cheap, too! A £6 bottle lasts over a month of daily use.

Agree with Aveeno recommend - it’s great and a good price too.

On the more expensive side, This Works Dry Leg oil is a favourite for me and I find it really nourishing for dry skin and Cowshed have some amazing oils that smell gorgeous.

I use Palmer's Coconut Hydrate body oil. It takes a few moments to soak in but smells wonderful and leaves my skin very soft. About £8 a bottle.

I use This Works: Skin Deep Dry Leg Oil
Daft name as even the website says use it all over!
It's the best dry oil I've ever used!
