Nike or Adidas trainers for city walking: reccos?

Which Nike or Adidas trainers would you recommend for long city walks on concrete? I am sticking to one of these brands because I have an outlet shop near me which sells these at a discount. I have narrow feet. I don't really like very chunky soles but I guess I need them for.walking on hard surfaces?

Not keen on white. I love Adidas Gazelles n green or blue but are they good for walking?

I like Nike Cortez for lots of walking or similar styles. I also like Adidas spezials but some people don’t like the arch support. Find Gazelles too flat after hours.

Gazelles are quite flat so not the most comfortable for walking (for me at least) but I've recently discovered insoles since developing plantar fasciitis which have made all my shoes more comfortable, the only downside with the Gazelles are the fact they are quite narrow so with the insole they restricted space a little, but maybe not an issue if you have very narrow feet! I'm not sure if mine are narrow or not lol. I've got a few pairs of Nikes, the only ones I'd probably wear walking are my Nike internationalists.

Adidas gazelles don't offer any cushioning for long periods of walking. I find that nikes run narrower than other brands and I like Nike pegasus. It's a running shoe and very bouncy. It does look like a running shoe though so if you want something that looks more like a casual trainer you could consider the new balance 2002r or 1906, both offer good support.

I usually buy the cheaper Nike models for commuting so I don’t trash my nice ones (my mother always said I was “hard on shoes”). Currently in a pair of Tanjun that I got in the sale for £42. They are really comfy and don’t take any wearing in due to the fabric upper.
