What shoes with this dress?!

I have this dress but really don't want to wear flip flops in the autumn (as it's styled on the Zara website)
What else would work with it?!

This is going to sound really dense... is a pixie boot just an ankle boot?!
What's the trick to stopping it look clumpy/ like wearing wellies? Or is that the look?

I've no idea how a boot would work with a dress like that (gorgeous by the way!) I'd go with a strappy heal or a sling back.

I'd wear knee length satin pull on boots I think they're called sock boots?? But I am old and not trendy. Lovely dress though!

Love the dress. Where's it from? I've got a pair of leopard ankle boots that would look great with this or a simple black ankle boot.

I think strappy platforms would work proportionally and as pp said satin would be a good fabric choice.

I agree with ankle boots. I'd probably go for something pointy and metallic but leopard print would work too.

Oliver Bonas usually have some good boots. Maybe shocking pink or something like that.

I don’t think the hem is really the right length for ankle boots.

I think that would be too heavy for that dress.

I have a pair of very comfortable leopard print wedge sandals that would team up really well with that dress. They were inexpensive but look great on. I'll see if I can find a link.* *

Would probably wear with pale / matte gold pointed kitten heels (or a chunky heel to dress it down) for a birthday party. Or perhaps something like this
