How to heal cracked mouth from tret (quickly!)

Got sore cracked corners of my mouth from tret that aren't healing, I've carefully avoided tret in the area for days but it's not healing, anyone have any advice?

Are you sure it's trey and not fissures? I couldn't get on with tret but didn't have issues like that.

Not sure what fissures are? But I'd be surprised, it started happening literally days after switching to Dermatica's much higher concentration of Tret and I had something similar in the corner of my nose with skin and me (but cleared quickly as soon as I stopped using it there). You're not supposed to put it too close to eye, mouth and corner of nose and I assume that's why.

Try good old Vaseline or Sudocrem. I had the same problem with the higher strength, so reverted to the weaker one.

Smother in hyaluronic acid and put Vaseline on the top. Hyaluronic acid will hydrate and then Vaseline will lock in the moisture.

Lansinoh nipple cream- no I'm not joking

I use a cpap machine and sometimes I get cracking at the corner of my lips. I make sure my moisturiser gets into the area and I have a cacao butter stick which I use during the day.

Put vaseline around your eyes and on and around your lips before applying the Tret. Even if you are using it away from sensitive areas it can 'creep' into those areas. Vaseline acts as a barrier and should stop this happening.
