Currently, my naturally mid brown hair with an ever increasing amount of grey is highlighted blonde.
I’ve never really liked the highlighted look, probably because for years I coloured my hair at home so used to one colour all over.
Last had highlights refreshed 4 weeks ago. The regrowth is terrible, so much grey is showing. Also not sure how long the colour on the brown is lasting as there seems to be a lot again and last appointment my hairdresser concentrated on putting more highlights through the underneath.
Is it possible that the dye isn’t “sticking” to my hair as well as it maybe should?
We have talked about having an all over colour, this would be with a different brand of dye. I know the regrowth would probably be the same.
Just fed up of paying for highlights every six weeks and not being happy with them.
