posh do tomorrow, need to dress smart, need outfit ideas...

haven't got time or money for anything new, but am off to london tomorrow with dh for a posh private view, it's a daytime thing at the mall gallery. he will be wearing a suit, and he's said i will need to dress smart.

any ideas for me, what kind of look should i go for, ie dress, skirt, trousers??

is it still knee length boot weather?

if it turns warm boots will look silly next to someone in flipflops - better not.

I'd wear a trouser suit and bold jewellery because that's my default arty-but-smart

hmm, you are probably right about boots, have just walked to school to pick dd up and it is deceptively warm out there, traveling on trains and the underground always makes me hot anyway, and they do tend to make an outfit look heavy iykwim

i have a brown trouser suit, which i've not worn for years, used to wear it for work meetings before i left and became a slob sahm

going to have to give this some thought tonight and have a trying on session
