Questions about oils v serums v creams

I've been neglecting my neck and it's hideously crepey. I know only a facelift will repair it but I'm hoping to keep it as supple and plump as possible from now on. I'd like to reapply moisture during the day, but not really sure what regime would work.
Should I use oil after a shower in the morning, then top up with the same product later? Or should I use serum then moisturiser in the morning, and later in the day put the same moisturiser back on again?

I’m not sure it matters so much what format it’s in - an oil, serum or moisturiser would all be good for hydrating your skin.

I personally like to use a heavier moisturiser or oil at night (can look too oily on me to wear during the day) and just wear sunscreen during the day.

If you want to rehydrate during the day, there are sprays you can use to quickly spritz your face. A lot of them are fine over make up too if you wear it. I use one when I’m in the office as the air con really dries my skin out.

I started using Strivectin neck cream, applied both morning and night, after I lost weight and noticed that the skin on my neck had become crepey. It's quite a heavy cream, but not greasy and absorbs easily. I saw a difference after two weeks.

I completely forgot to check this thread, how rude! Thanks for those suggestions. I hadn’t thought about a spritz to top up. Will have a look at Strivectin too.
