What products are good for spots?

Yes, I still get some big horrible stonkers, despite being 27. At the moment I have one horrid spot on my forehead that looks like a giant bindi. So big - a colleague walked into my office and asked what I'd done to my head

I really, really can't afford to spend over a fiver (tenner at an absolute humongous push) or anything - but if anyone's got any recommendations of good creams and potions please let me know.

I currently use the clearasil four hour one.

Benzoyl Peroxide ointment - ask at the chemists.

I would use nothing on it (was told pure vodka on cotton wool ball was good), but never put moisturisere in areas prone to spots in future. Am saying this to remind myself as have one too and am bit older than you. Argh..

def benzoyl peroxide

and I like th eJohnsons moisturiser with salicylic acid in, but tis only good if your skin is teenagey and not wrinkley and spotty

but you're 27 so it should do

On the cheapo side; TCP (if you don't mind the smell) and Savlon are good.

I use Origins blemish something or other, it's a tenner for teeny bottle, but lasts for ages. I just read a road test thing in a magazine which recommended one in particular. Will post again when I remember....
