What to wear to go to the dogs???

dh has organised a night at the dogs with everyone that he used to go to school with, people that he hasnt seen for about 15 years and that I have never met.

What do I wear. Have nice jeans and good black trousers but not sure what sort of top to wear. Its always cold when we go to the dogs.

Where are you? Inside for a meal with a runner to put your bets on or outside on the rails having to deal with bookies?. At Belle Vue (Manc) it seems that a standard uniform of jeans and a 'going out top' for inside is good - add as much gold jewelry as poss. preferably something from Elizabeth Duke at Argos involved a 4 inch dancing clown. Outside - wear your entire wardrobe and dont make eye contact with anyone!. Haha
