What to wear with these boots

I've seen these boots in the Dune sale and really like them!

Trouble is I'm not sure what I'd wear with them. I know skinny jeans are out of fashion and I don't think they'd go with baggy or balloon jeans.
I do have a couple of patterned midi skirts which might work. A mini would feel a bit 80s (but maybe that's the look to go for!).

I believe they look great with baggy jeans but you’ll need to shorten the lower leg part a bit so they show the boots.

Anything! Why on earth wouldn't they go with wide legs?

Possible caveat for cropped trousers. I don't like 'em anyway, but with these boots there might be a bit too much going on around the ankle.

Thanks everyone! Think i need to widen my horizons, I'd assumed baggy jeans would be a no because the bottom would cover most of the boot but it's a good point about why not.
