Short wool coat, in petite sizes (4/6/XS/XXS)?

I love the look of these cropped, or short, wool coats (like this one from Massimo Dutti). But I'm quite petite at only 5 foot, and struggling to find places that do a petite, or at least a Size 6 or XXS!

Looking for something high quality, that'll last.

I’m the same height as you and my size xs/6 winter coats have come from Zara, Mango and Phase Eight. Reiss also do smaller sizes but are pricier.

These particular coats have been about 8 inches below hip height, so well above knee height. The Zara one was woollen, the others more padded/waterproof. All were belted and zipped which helped with the fit.

@Decisionsdecisions1 Thank you!! So you just bought Mango, Zara, Phase Eight size XS/6, and they fit, even if these shops don't necessarily have a petite section?

Yup - most of my clothes come from Mango and (to a lesser extent) Zara. The Spanish brands are cut smaller.
Also have some bits from H&M as they do some clothes in size 4/6/xxs.

I've managed to buy a few bits from &Other Stories occasionally too but not many.

The length on trousers I sometimes have to have taken up, depending on the style but thats easy enough for a dry cleaners to do. Makes a difference if the waist position, hip width, sleeve length, neckline etc fit.
