Hi I am a 30yr old mum of 2 kids a boy 7yrs and a girl 8yrs.I am sick and fed up of not knowing what to wear.I have a very limited budget.
I need clothes that are comfortable to wear as I have Fibromyalgia and that means that some days the clothes actually hurt ie:when i raise my arms to put tops on or if my jeans are a little tight it hurts my hips.I tend to buy jeans with elastic in the waist because some days I bloat up and look about 8 mths pregnant!
I am a size 20 on waist and I wear size 20 or 22 or 24 on the top depending on the make, some are more genourous than others.
I need comfortable shoes as i have very bad pains in my feet so I have just bought some new trainers but they are nice trainers before you all groan!!!..lol.Oh and I am 5ft tall....lol.I love the tunicy type tops but can I wear them or will they drown me?I also have really bad chicken fillet arms, you know they still wave a few minutes after you have stopped waving!I live in Devon and everyone here seems to wear comfy casuals but I dont seem to be able to get the look right. So please if there is anyone out there that can help please give me some advice. thanks.

this andthese both have elastene in them so will stretch on 'bigger' days. They are from the petite range, is this the sort of thing you mean? They would look nice with flattish white trainers or low top Converse. BTW Converse sizes are quite big so you might find them comfortable on your feet.

Yes thanks thats sort of what i mean, I want to be comfy but also look nice and not slobby. will check them out.

You might be best to stay away from jeans, they can be restricting and if you get a pair with elastic ,they can look frumpy , SORRY, not trying to be rude! Wide legged trousers can be 'dressed down'. BTW I love trainers!

I have a limited budget too, but I try to buy decent bottoms. There are good cheap tops around, george at Asda is especially good.

I would go for soft wide legged trousers...in various colours. And there are loads of tunic tops around. Go for a v neck which will flatter more.

A 3/4 length sleeve will show the slimmest part of your arm. Wear some jazzy beads..and lots of lippy! you could go for a comfy wedge shoe..altho they have a heel because its a wedge they don't feel high, just make sure your trousers are long enough.makes your legs look longer.

Have a look in George at ASda and Dotty P's they have great ranges in all sizes.
Have fun shopping! ooh on Dorothy perkins site they have Gok Wan telling you what suits your shape,Gok knows best!!
