DISCLAIMER: you are not me so you may hate it.

'Tis from H&M, green t-shirty skirt just above knee with elasticated embroidered smocking over boobs and tie-straps. Will effortlessly go from garden recliner to playground! Is very flattering. And was only £10!

Cannot find a link though

Littlelapin, I have just received my Boden essential summer dress.
Got it in black, good shape, but very very thin material. Sigh.

fishie · 22/04/2008 12:45

Seasider · 22/04/2008 12:45

Got my essential summer boden dress today too. But was too short so am returning for LONG and I'm only 5ft 2 ffs!
I am having it in red and 'sapphire'. Must I really sew up the pockets Cod?

I s'pose you're right. I could do one dress sewn and one not then I do a comparison! Lapin love that Kew shirt in navy. Stone would make me look meh.

MamaG · 22/04/2008 12:56

Its not MY fault I'm a total sexy fox whose DH can't keep his mitts off her

sparklesandnowinefor9months · 22/04/2008 12:56

Just seen this thread!

Can you all help me find a nice summer maternity dress size 10!

fishie · 22/04/2008 12:56

i love pockets, last night at event i had to put cloakroom ticket down my boot.

lapin that shirt is nice but on me it would attain instant inmate status (tm enid). lovely in lilac.

MamaG · 22/04/2008 12:58

YES maternity gooood

WaynettaSlob · 22/04/2008 13:01

Sparkles - I am looking for exactly that for myself, so will keep you posted! Lots of maxi dresses out there, but the shorter dress is still a bit of a mystery......

sparklesandnowinefor9months · 22/04/2008 13:06

i can't do maxi dresses as i'm only 5'1" and they look more than a little odd on me

I spent ages looking yesterday the only one i found was this, i ordered it but i'm not sure

MrsBadger · 22/04/2008 13:07

everyday maternity dresses are without exception ghastly sacks

get the cotton twill miniskirt from jojo and wear with wafty tunics

makes your legs look pin-thin

MrsBadger · 22/04/2008 13:10

skirt now in sale

lived in mine last summer and was distraught when I ripped one right across the arse trying to moor a narrowboat

MamaG · 22/04/2008 13:16

ooooh I like that Mrs B - whats the sizing like, compared to, say, Next? I lost a lot of weight before getting PG and I THINK I'm between 14-16...14 jeans fit(ted) so would you go 14 or 16?

MrsBadger · 22/04/2008 13:19

I am a 10-12 ie a Next 10 and think I got the 10... but I did rip it due to fat arse so you may want to learn from my experience - they have No Lycra.
They're good on returns iirc so you might want to get both and return the wrong one.

Seasider · 22/04/2008 13:21

I noticed that GAP are now doing maternity clothes, have you checked that out Sparkles? And when is your DD?!

MamaG · 22/04/2008 13:22

Good idea, I will do. Thanks a lot
