Looking for opinions. Is a trouser suit OK? Spring wedding in a European country.

I run very hot, I can't wear velvet at all, sadly (wish I could)

Some of these are trousers and contrasting jackets rather than trouser suits. I think the green Sister Jane jacquard trouser suit in the first 2 links would be a great spring wedding outfit.

I like that jacket! The trousers would unfortunately make me look like a circus baby elephant (very short and a bit rounded). I like slim flares, the only shape that really works for me, and I have found some nice satin ones, so I was just seeing if people thought smart trousers rather than a dress was OK!

I love a nice trouser suit. I've been to weddings where the bride's or groom's mothers have worn a trouser suit. Usually in a pastel colour with a fabulous hat, so it doesn't look corporate.

I'm MOB next spring. I'm having a wide legged trouser suit in a paisley silk made for the event. I'm really looking forward to wearing it. Now I just need to find some heels I can walk in.
