Hi,

I’m going somewhere hot and dry, but will need to work whilst I’m there, so I’d like to take some cool shift style dresses which can be worn with sandals.

Not too mini, but above the knee. No spaghetti straps.

Can anyone recommend somewhere? (Not Next, because I don’t want to have to register to buy a £12 dress!)

Budget is up to £40 per dress. I need two or three. I’d go a bit higher for something that would last well.

Look at Mango, H&M, &Other Stories and Uniqlo. Lots of shops have their autumn stock in now so you might struggle a bit. ASOS?

There are some lovely, pricier linen shifts 😍, but I just needed throw-ons that might end up getting a bit mucky!
