Can I pull off leopard print jeans if I am quite short and little bit round?

I am and I have a pair!
I am apple shaped so wear them with a flowy v neck hip length top.

CherryValley5 · 23/09/2024 16:39

Awful things, irrelevant of size!! The leopard print trend will soon die out again

BebbanburgIsMine · 23/09/2024 18:04

No, leopard print anything is awful!

The worst print ever, it's horrible.

NewspaperDoll · 23/09/2024 18:29

Yes! You can wear anything if you just wear them confidently. Animal print, especially when it’s pretty muted like a denim print, is basically a neutral.

Deathraystare · 24/09/2024 09:31

Yes! Wear them!

This. I'm not keen on animal print, but that's me.

I think they look terrible on anyone who isn't young, tall and thin.

Yeah but basically everything looks better on someone who is young, tall and thin.
As I'm old, short and fat (getting less so - and that's the only one I have control over!) I don't wish to just wear sacks and hide indoors.

Shame about all the negativity, OP wasn't asking if we liked the print but whether we thought she could pull them off...OP clearly does like the print, as do I.

I say go for it, and as a PP said, styled well leopard can be a neutral if you want it to be.

Good luck!

LakelandDreams · 24/09/2024 10:14

No you can't. Avoid like the plague.

Yeah, why not. I wear camouflage skinny jeans.

I think they look terrible on anyone who isn't young, tall and thin.

But according to some posters there's almost nothing which anyone who isn't " young, tall and thin" should wear.

It's nonsense. Liking yourself and enjoying what you wear is what matters.

henlake7 · 24/09/2024 13:11

If you've found a decent pair and love them then go for it.
I love abit of leopard print but Ive yet to find a pair of trousers in leopard that dont look cheap...I think you need a really decent cut.
