Vest/tank with built in bra?

I've been searching for ages to find cotton vest tops with built in support but I'm looking for a cup shaped inner rather than an shelf.

I've see Uniqlo mentioned a few times but the ones I've looked at have quite a lot of polyester content and I'm not sure on Uniqlo sizing - can anyone advise please?

I'm around a size 16, 36E/F.

Bravissimo do them

SnowflakeSmasher86 · 23/09/2024 14:07

I bought some from Amazon but they do just have a shelf rather than cups. Would be interested to see other posts to properly supportive ones.

BrokenSushiLook · 23/09/2024 14:07

Ditto was about to say Bravissimo but pp typed quicker.

Thank you. The Bravissimo ones look good but if I can find something cheaper I'll be able to buy a variety of colours.

It doesn't need to actually fit like a bra, just to have the shaped cups. The shelf ones just seem to squash me as I'm older and less firm.

Could you tell me which Amazon ones you've tried please @SnowflakeSmasher86 ? Did they offer any support at all?

CharmLeaks 2 Pack Women Summer... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075V22471?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

these are the ones I’ve bought. They have adjustable straps and are certainly better than a normal vest. I’m a 38GG/size 18 and the XXL is a great fit.

Thank you. I'll order some. Are you able to go braless with them or do they squash everything?

I go braless all the time to be fair! But at least this way I don’t get sweaty underboob.

mine are just for lounging really so I could probably go a size smaller if I wanted more support - this is XXL. You’d probably want XL for a comfy fit or L for a tighter more supportive fit.

I have the Uniqlo ones.

You do really need to go and try them because of cup size issues but if it's any help I'm a size 18 and I have a Uniqlo XL

Goatblu · 24/09/2024 14:23

They look ideal @SnowflakeSmasher86. I want a bit of post menopausal lift to stop sweating really and to not bother with a bra. I'm just concerned that the shelf style will squash me as the perkiness is long gone Blush

That would be ideal @Octavia64 but the closest store to me is 3 hours away.

I suppose I could order a few in different sizes and return the ones that don't fit - I'll check their returns policy.

Do they give you enough support?
