Having a wardrobe update and this berry backpack is really nice but I'm not 100% and not sure why. It's a lot of money if I change my mind. Maybe it's not quite satchel-y enough. I tend to wear jeans, trainers or boots. I already have one like this black one but in deep brown, not sure which I prefer. Im not into sharp sleek dressing so something a bit more easy going looking is my thing. The red one has moveable straps so can be a backpack or cross body. Hmm. Which would you choose?

I'd for for the red, but then I am trying to get more colour into my wardrobe

It's a bit nondescript. Looks like any old bag you can see hanging in t k max for much less.

I like it, (fat face) but it's a very soft open grain leather, they tend to "bruise" colour transfer ( both ways sometimes, so if you wearing something light the darker colour from the leather can transfer, if you're wearing dark, it can get ingrained in the leather) they also seem to loose colour on the corners, and show finger marks.
Would you be able to see it in real life?
There are lots of bags that a multi wearable (?!) around I really like the functionality of bags you can change up how you use

UltramarineViolet · 23/09/2024 11:59

I'm not keen on the colour tbh

I like red but this is almost brown

TomatoSandwiches · 23/09/2024 12:07

I would go for a darker red, a burgundy over this and like pp said, it's a soft leather and not really as durable, it won't last long, especially the straps.

Justkoko · 23/09/2024 12:22

Good point about bruising and colour transfer. Especially when I tend to wear dark jeans a lot! Also re the straps, if the buckles are being moved a lot to change up the way it is worn, I can imagine them getting raggedy. I ts nice but I don't think I really like it quite enough. I think if it was a bit more of a traditional satchel with tougher looking seams I'd be more into it. Iyswim. Hmm.

This is similar in function, but in nylon so lighter and often easy to clean ( you might hate it! ) it's about £20
Im terrible at links

Thanks for that, I'm not 100% I'm after a back pack tbh. I think I may just stick with what I have until something I really really like comes along. Have just been having a switcheroo of some of my things and I did up down a rabbit hole!

@Justkoko no worries I love bags, I'd looked at the one I linked for someone else recently.
Hope you find something that works for you ( I buy bags all the time!)
