Wedding guest dress

Hi, I'm hoping you good people with fashion sense can point me in the right direction. I need an outfit for a wedding (all day) but struggle with knowing what suits my shape. I am 5'8 and wear a size 16. I carry most weight around tum and bum. Are there any particular styles that are best? Has anyone of similar body shape found a gem recently?

In order to help, people need to know your budget, and the context of the wedding - season, location, culture and mores of the wedding party and guests, anything else that might dictate or restrict your options.

Where do you usually shop? How do you like to look? Are you hoping to coordinate with anything you already own? Etc, etc …

I can't link but how about a wrap dress?

Have a look at SilkFred online, if you click on the three lines (top left hand side) they have different sections like Occasions, Perfect For, What's New, Most Loved etc, it makes the choices easier to breakdown, they've also got a sale on.

Thanks, OK, so wedding is UK, this side of Christmas. I am normally terrible for trying to cover up as much as poss, so oversized jumpers, tshirts etc. Esp to cover arms. Budget is not massive. Not cheap cheap, I normally shop mid range, eg next. I don't have anything that it must coordinate with so will match shoes etc to whatever outfit I land on!

I'd suggest a wrap dress as someone above said

You could also get a sleeved wrap dress if you was wanting to cover your arms.
