Uniqlo sizing for short women

Hey everyone, hoping someone my build can advise. I want to try Uniqlo T-shirts as I’ve heard they are a good thickness instead of much of the see-through rubbish available. I can only buy online. I am 5 ft 1, size 6 waist, maybe a bit more like an 8 for bust/shoulder area - has anyone similar bought from Uniqlo and could tell me what size they usually get? I’ve looked through their size guide but still not sure.

Watching with interest because I’m on the exact same mission and with very similar sizing to you (apart from being smaller of norkage than you from the sounds of it).

I was trying to figure it out this morning but got a bit bamboozled!

I am a bit taller (and a bit wider) but a size 8 on top. My jumpers are usually a S because I like them to be a touch oversized. I'd probably buy an XS if I was buying a fitted t shirt.

I'm a similar size/height, slightly smaller on top, and have both xs and xxs Uniqlo tops, depending on style. T shirts are good but I have found black ones fade quickly.

I know you're asking about t shirts, but for info I just bought some trousers from there and they will take them up for you - I got size xs 24.5 inch leg which are ankle length on me and fit well.

DD is 5ft 2 and a size 6 and she has quite a bit from Uniqlo, usually xxs and she does have boobs.
Her legs are actually quite long so the trousers are fine for her

Thanks everyone, really helpful replies. I’m going to do two orders, get a couple in a style I wouldn’t mind ending up too big as an xs and depending how that goes I’ll know my size for the next. I’m planning on a lot of T shirts and long sleeved top outfits this autumn rather than blouses so really trying to find good ones without spending madly!

Uniqlo have the actual measures, listed under the sizes, for every garment and they do vary, so it is worth checking this, alongside the reviews, which are often very useful for actual fit.

I've 5ft and size 6 on top - the crew neck t shirts in xxs fit me great.

Uniqlo is another retailer who has 'grown' their sizes. Was previously an XS.
