Nesti Dante Soaps & cheaper alternatives

I love these soaps. I discovered them from the Style thread. But the price on amazon is now £10 a bar. This one is my favourite NESTI DANTE Emozioni di Toscana, Villages & Monasteries Soap 250 g : Amazon.co.uk: Beauty

I have found it cheaper elsewhere but can see the prices will be rising everywhere soon.

Has anyone found nice alternatives? I love a good old fashioned clean smelling soap. Nothing harsh on skin.

TkMaxx is great. I even got some bigl'Occitane bars there the other week. God knows how much they'd have cost in the original shop!

I had the same problem, @BlackSwan . I love the fig and almond one and despite trying various others from TK Maxx and Etsy, they weren’t a patch on Nesti! I found them from a chemist online and bought 6.

I haven’t tried the Kew ones, actually-would like to smell them!

Fig & almond is my favourite as well - my local independent department store has them for £6 still - I bought 6 as well.

they must have thought I was bathing the entire town!

It is the nicest smelling bar soap I have ever used, I love it so much! I used the liquid version of it in the downstairs toilet as well, but can’t find that anymore either!

I don’t know what’s happened to stop Amazon stocking it!?

Op try the chateau savon site, they do the most heavenly soaps. I use the french lavender but they have absolutely loads of different ones. A lot on offer at the moment 10 for £10.

Also came on to suggest this company. Variety of soaps, all top quality that last well. One of my favourite things is needing to choose a new one form my soap box.

The John Bell chemist linked to has the big bars for £6.
Firenze is my go to. The whole en suite smells of this all the time. It’s beautiful. Wish it was a perfume!

Yes in addition to the multipack I’ve now bought a half dozen of the bigger individual ones. No more soap required until 2025!

I have a thing for bulk orders. Pasta, tuna, coffee, soap…
