RIP Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Ultra Violet: please recommend a replacement?

So I love this colour. But they have changed the formulation and it's now blobby and rubbish and I've had to return my most recent purchase.

However, I cannot find any brands doing a similar eyeliner in that colour. I have hazel eyes and the colour really brings out the green in them.

Tried the Avon 'Whip Into Shape' gel pen, but I'm not impressed. It's supposed to be brilliant, but it's too red, it isn't intense/solid enough a line and I ended up with prints on my upper lids, which was... interesting.Will pay for a decent liner if it's worth it.

NYX have a good range of purple/plum/violet liners that do not budge. I have the Epic Wear liner in Magenta Shock. I also use the Maybelline Tattoo liner in Rich Berry.

Thank you all- recommendations make all the difference. I'm not a fan of shopping and it's such a pain when you waste your time getting something you hope will work, but doesn't. <stares at Maybelline and Avon>

I also have hazel eyes and have this too, more of an eyeshadow stick than a liner but can be sharpened.

Thanks @Defiantlynot41 that's quite an interesting looking colour actually, may check it out. I think I got fixated on the specific shade of the original liner as I really like the vivid intensity of it- it's a deep blue/purple that I can't seem to find anywhere else. Perhaps I just need to experiment...
