Hairdryer for thick hair

Looking for recommendations please!
I want a hairdryer that actually dries thick frizzy wavy hair quickly.
My hair does take ages to dry to be fair even at the hairdressers. But the last two dryers I bought after reading reviews saying they were good for thick hair and they've been nothing special.

I had a babyliss 3Q which was "ok", it broke last year and I got a shark IQ dryer and I really don't like it - it takes ages to dry and it's heavy and noisy.

Any suggestions? Not really keen on spending £££ for a Dyson but if worth it maybe I should?

I am actually tempted to buy a cheap and cheerful £30 job because it can't be much worse than the shark

I have really thick hair and use the ETI turbo dryer. That may be worth looking at? Far less ££ than a shark or Dyson.

The Shark Smooth style is a million times better than the Shark IQ.

I love my Dyson. It was a present but I’d definitely replace if it died.

GHD one. Fab at drying my long, thick hair extensions

I have really thick hair and would recommend a Parlux Digitalyon. It's lightweight and dries very quickly. It was quite expensive but a lot cheaper than the Dyson which was the deciding factor for me!

I have a GHD hairdryer and it is amazing. I have a LOT of hair. Even better though is the revlon one shot. It is absolutely amazing

Dyson 100%

Thanks all, going to look at all these options

I can't stand Dyson vacuum cleaner as and returned one of their fans but the hairdryer is the best, the absolute best.

Sadly the dyson is amazing!

The Dyson on my thick hair turns it to straw.

Parlux is what you need.

Something I do for my very thick hair (which may not be advisable but it works) is use my ETI turbo hairdryer from the top and my Babyliss one step hot air brush thing underneath as a hairbrush. This means it's getting blowdryed from both sides and dries twice as fast.
