Hair dryer for wavy hair!

I have a child with bum length wavy hair who is a devotee of the curly girl method…

A hair dryer is on the Christmas list but having poker straight very short hair myself I have no idea what to get (other than it needs to be a diffuser)

Is the Dyson worth the money? Or a shark? Or is there something else I haven’t heard of?!

thanks!

I returned my shark as it kept overheating, but I adored the diffuser. I now have a Laufin which dries my hair quickly and is very light, but I still obsess over the size of Curlsmith diffuser and am very tempted to try it.

If her hair is wavy then she is honestly probably better leaving it to dry naturally. If not then any old cheap hairdryer. The less powerful the better. Too much blowing or too much heat will probably make it frizzier.
