If you get Botox, how often did you start with?

I've had my first lot of Botox, it's been a couple of weeks and I'm mostly pleased but some deep set wrinkles by my eyes are still quite visible. I was hoping to only get a couple of times a year (I'm only mid 30s) but am wondering if it's worth having 1 or 2 more goes in quick succession to try to tackle those wrinkles and then see how long until they start to appear again before working out frequency for maintenance.

Does it work like that? What did you do?

Hi. I've had Botox since I was 35 (now 41). The place I go to offers top ups within 2 weeks of the initial injections. Sometimes I need it for tweaks, sometimes I don't.

I would suggest to start slowly and doing it every 6 months. It's cheaper too!

To add, my doctor said that persistent wrinkles around the eyes might be linked to loss of collagen in the temple region if you are slim/very athletic and can only be treated with filler. I'm too scared to go that route though.

Twice a year initially. I get it three times now. Some stuff is stronger than others though. A lot of places use cheap brands that don’t always last on some people. I personally use Allergan Botox. But vistabel or dysport

Started 4-6 months 3 years ago and still doing the same now.
I think once I had it again after 3 months but otherwise left as long as I could bare the lines!

Thanks all, maybe it's a bit rash to go back for more so soon, I'm going back next week for lumi eyes and she said she would tweak areas I wanted. Will try to find out the brand name!

I think my problem is I squint a lot, I do it when I'm thinking for some reason! It's not an eye sight thing, trying to stop! Also worse on one side which i assume is the one I sleep on.
