Black knee-high boots for petite women (not wide fit!)

Another autumn is arriving, and its another year for me to start hunting for the elusive perfect knee-high boot. I've never been successful in finding ones that look right on me, so this year I thought you could help!

I'm 5ft 2 so need slightly shorter boots. Normal height knee-high boots typically end up looking like wellies on me and sit uncomfortably around the knee (as they inevitably end up sitting on the kneecap)

I don't need wide fit. If anything, my calves are quite skinny.

Ideally black in colour.

I'd prefer flat boots over heels, but could manage a small heel if the boots fit perfectly otherwise. I want to wear them with jeans, dresses, mini skirts etc.

Budget - no more than £100-£200 ideally

Jones the boot maker do slim leg high boots, I’m 4 inches shorter than you & they fit well Duo also do slim leg but are more expensive, another really expensive company do slim leg but for the life of me can’t think of the name will come back when I do.

What size shoe are you? Could you buy from children's range? I'm a size 5 and buy next children's shoes quite often because they're cheaper and good quality- girls high boots are likely to be shorter than ladies

I just bought some yesterday from BrandAlley they arrived today. So beautiful. Stuart Weitzmann is the brand £200. Reduced from £750

They are very narrow. I couldn't get them over my skinny jeans, but I think they will give
