Online shopping out of stock

I'm finding it so hard to shop any more.
High street is all just supermarket quality, priced up for fancier branding.
Online, I find something I like by searching keywords, and click the pho5o - out of stock.
How do you shop?

(Currently looking for a white corset, long sleeve bodysuit and there's lots of pics of ones I love and can't buy!)

Personally I can’t think of a worse way of shopping online than randomly googling key words. That would be like picking a stranger in the street and tasking them with buying you an outfit in a town they’d never visited before.

Do you not have any preferred brands that you regularly browse - so you know roughly what they have in any season? (I always keep an evolving cache of about a hundred clothes shops saved to my screen - if I wanted a particular thing (which is rare) I would know exactly which half dozen or dozen places to look first.)

Have a look here for both things:

Net-a-Porter lingerie

That sounds time consuming. My preferred brands mostly went shit in quality or rocketed in cost about 6 or 7 years ago, and it's following loads of disappointments.

I get most of my inspiration from seeing outfits on the street, not brands websites.....

You mean like this?

Wolford

I’d imagine Wilford do several versions.

You say my method sounds time consuming? But I enjoy the online experience. Countless numbers of brands and shops I loved have turned to shit or disappeared in the past seven years (Matches being the most heartbreaking) - but I just find new places. And am rarely disappointed, unless I’ve had my head turned by stupidly pretty styling on the Zara site.

Inspiration for me comes directly from designers shows - primarily via the Vogue Runway app.

Skims is great! (Though I wish Selfridges stocked all the things on the US site.)

Thanks. What are your top 10 shops you have on your desktop?
