I’ve lost over 3 stone and need to replace everything. What’s in fashion?

I’ve recently lost more than 3 stone after having two kids in two years and nothing fits me. I need to replace everything. I’m very excited by this prospect, it’s been a long time since I’ve had new clothes!

What’s in style now? I’m feeling very out of the loop. I know skinny jeans are not the most popular style now, I see looser styles everywhere.

I’m 28, roughly a size 10 or 12, big boobs, mum tum, 5’7.

Instead of looking at what is in why not go to a shopping service at a clothing department and get some advice on what works for your body shape now you're feeling happy with it.
They could fix up a capsule wardrobe of basics ans then you can add trendy pieces/accessories to it that are changeable depending on the season and what's popular.

Highly recommend John Lewis personal shopper experience it's free and I didn't feel badgered at all to buy anything !

Yes, wider leg jeans are definitely popular and you have the height to pull them off. I have some from Kings of Indigo which I really love but somewhere like John Lewis will have lots of different brands to try Leopard print wide leg jeans are a thing too. Leopard print generally seems to be popular still, but usually worn in sporty/ looser/casual shapes, often with graphic tops.

I watch Lydia Tomlinson after someone recommend on here. She has a simple style and often talks about capsule wardrobe which is my ambition this year. I'd start with a pair of wide leg comfy black or navy trouser, a smart trainer, a couple of decent T shirts I am currently wanting Cos green and white Ts, cute knitted cardi H&M have a couple. Seems burgundy, dark green and cream are in. Seeing some pleated skirts but don't think I will bother. I struggle with footwear, maybe a smart DM style which would look good with skirt and tights / jeans
