Best shampoo for greying hair

Morning. I'm starting to go grey and my hair is much coarser than previously. What shampoo is recommended for grey hair? I'm finding the grey ones are sticking out and the brown hair is lying flat. Thanks

I'm interested as I'm mostly grey. The purple shampoos make the colour lovely, but it feels like wire.

I took the plunge and ordered New Wash and I love it. They also do colour booster kits and as I’m greying too I will order the purple one next time. It’s a bit of an acquired taste as it’s not a traditional shampoo but it works for me

Thanks for the replies. I just wish the non grey would catch up so it wasn't different textures. I was wondering about a purple shampoo. I might give it a go. If I get a miracle potion I'll share.

I just use a hydrating shampoo. I like this one

Paul Mitchell instant moisture is brilliant for reducing coarseness, but if you also want to hide the great a bit Plantur 39 Brun is fantastic.

I use the Aussie SOS blonde shampoo. It's a purple shampoo that really helps my hair from yellowing. I use the conditioner too. My hair texture is good I think!

My hair was grey and I have it highlighted now as although I didn't mind going grey, I didn't like the coarseness of the grey. Agree, that L'Oreal stuff is the business and I have tried all the purple shampoos there are
