I used to love this concealer but will not buy it now as it’s tested on animals. Does anybody know of a similar concealer that is cruelty free?

Thanks.

Chantecaille does a very similar concealer which is a great formula, but they do have quite a limited shade range

@poppyzbrite4 Benefit is tested on animals unfortunately.

Just hijacking slightly. What is a good and affordable cruelty free brand of cosmetics?

No 7 from Boots is cruelty free (though not vegan as some of their products use beeswax) and I think they're pretty good, though they're not high end.

I think Rimmel is also cruelty free.

They were all tested on animals at some point. If they are stating that their product was not tested on animals it’s because the company is using a mix of ingredients which were individually tested on animals. They have then mixed those ingredients together.
They just haven’t slapped the finished product on a bunny themselves.

Touche eclat is an older brand so it has been put on an animal, the younger brands just benefit from ingredient testing done by the older brands.

If you want to avoid animal testing, then you need to not use cosmetics.

DOES BENEFIT TEST ON ANIMALS?
Benefit does not test our products on animals, nor do we permit suppliers or retailers to conduct testing on our behalf. All Benefit products undergo very strict tolerance tests using non-animal methods during the development of each product to ensure quality and safety prior to market.

In each country where we operate around the world, we strictly follow local rules and laws. While Benefit Cosmetics has operated in China since September 2007, as of May 2022 we have only imported “General” cosmetics products, which bypass premarket testing and are no longer subject to post-market animal testing.

Benefit is not cruelty-free. They may test on animals, either themselves, through their suppliers, or through a third party.
