Style notes in London today (was going Crystal Palace to Waterloo and back)

Style notes I noticed today out in the open air:-

• 2 younger women different locations wearing a black Bowie two headed with red hair and tour dates in white on the back.

• grey pleated almost school skirts spotted on at least 2 young women in different locations

• Young man dressed in short ripped hem skirt and ripped tights, deliberately ripped. Young woman with him in denim dark grey/black short shorts and sleeveless white knit top, probably a little bit chunky.

• black or very dark brown sort of fine crochet hem dress

I love people watching but these stood out to me.

Any style notes and ideas as to where the first and third items were from guessing Zara third. And name your style notes too.

First Bullet point was supposed to be David Bowie T-shirt.

I reckon the t shirt is Vintage Scene.

A lot of these type of things were in the primark at tott ct rd yesterday- Rita ora has a massive collection with lots of oleaster grey skirts.

Ohhh, I am not in London but in the Southern Hemisphere.. I will just put myself a cuppa and “watch” avidly . People watching in big cities is my favourite occupation.

The last time I was on the tube I saw 3 separate girls wearing their hair in low buns accessorised with large white Broderie Anglaise scrunchies.

I think the Bowie heads T-shirt is probably from Primark, maybe H&M @Lastminuteisinit. The heads were the same not different.

You’re right. I felt a Britney “Oops” moment with the skirts and I had to check myself and remind myself that it was Saturday and they were very short.

To be fair my first school we had airforce blue (not navy) and my second version they were long grey almost kilt like pleated skirts - it was a convent and we were strongly berated if we tried changing. One girl dyed her hair and she was made to change it back to her natural colour.

My teenage dd has just bought herself a pair of grey trousers that are just like her school trousers. When I pointed this out, it didn’t go well for me.

They are completely different. Apparently.
