Desperate for help: fix my newly allergic skin

Hi everyone. I’m seven weeks postpartum and while I was pregnant, my skin became sensitive and allergic to my SPF (Heliocare). I’ve never had sensitive skin before, or any allergies. I was hoping this would go when I gave birth, but it hasn’t and I’ve since tried lots of different spfs. I’m allergic to them all! Hot, puffy, red skin that’s unhappy for days after using them. I’m really concerned about this, it means I can’t use any of my usual skincare and my skin looks terrible. I’m worried it’s not going to improve. Has anyone experienced similar? Any advice? I went to the GP but they were no help. How can I fix my skin?!

Stop wearing SPF. If it’s sunny, wear a hat.
Buy some soothing, gentle serum and moisturiser. Avoid anything with fragrance or essential oil.
Im in Australia and I only wear sunscreen on my face if I’m out in the sun and taking off my hat and I never get burned. This business of “always wear sunscreen” is not necessary. Hats. They are the go.
