Long sleeved lace mini dress for a party

DD17 has surprised me suggesting she'd like to wear a dress like this for a party. Usually she dresses in baggy clothes trying to conceal as much of her body as possible!

I am more than happy to buy her a dress she likes but I am worried about the sleeves on this one because DD is only 5.2". I have had a look in asos and h&m and have found a couple of possibilities but in black, which seems a shame when she's willing to wear colour.

Anyway, I was wondering if you could help me find a similar dress that might be more suited to her stature and figure. Like I said, she's a shortie, curvaceous size 8. Also, I've never heard of Motelrocks, is it a trusty site? Thanks!

She’s 17. But her the drsss she wishes and stop trying to police her clothes or find reasons not to. All you need to know is is it a legit site, which it is. Do not make your purchases contingent on your approval. That’s shit.

@Wineandcupcakes what a stupid thing to say. I am not trying to police her choices. I want to get her the dress she wants but adapted to her size as she's shorter than her peers.

Hi, Motel Rocks are a decent company. My DD set her heart on a pair of their jeans, had to return first pair as not quite the right size, their customer service was excellent and the jeans she got are good quality and a very on trend fit.

The dress looks great, why not try it and see if the sleeves are ok on her.

I have a 21 one year old daughter and from my experience I would go with the exact one she has picked. They are so particular that another similar dress won't cut it. I like the sleeves on that one, yes they will most likely cover her hands, but that's the style of it.
