Wedding dress shopping

I need some advice on where to go for a wedding dress. I'm in the north west but could go north east.

As I'm in my fifties I want something simple, definitely not meringue as I'm 5ft3 and think it would swamp me!

Find a dress you like anywhere, as long as you try it on ( wedding dress sizes are bonkers); check the internet for the best price, it can vary massively! People fall for the "magic" of wedding dress shopping (same with the accessories) the price is often overinflated in "nicer" shops
