Warm jumpers or sweatshirts

It's starting to feel like Autumn now and I'm thinking about my autumn/winter wardrobe. At the end of last winter I donated a lot of my sweaters and jumpers because they were too faded or bobbley so I need to buy a few this year.
I am always cold and have 2 small children so clothes can't be delicate. Please suggest your favourite cosy jumpers.

always cold needs GP tests for possible anaemia / thyroid issues …

But meanwhile I’d get the thickest, warmest hoodies you can find, for everyday wear:

Uniqlo (average price, warm, mixed fabric)

Community Clothing (prices commensurate with impeccable ethics and pure cotton)

Then get the best quality pure wool knitwear you can afford for dressier occasions. Don’t bother buying cheap wool - you’ll be throwing it all out next year.

I've never bought anything from Uniqlo but keep meaning to try it. So will have a look.
I do periodically have anaemia but even when I don't I'm still cold. We live in a cold house though.

I work from home and stopped wearing sweatshirts and hoodies as I find a knitted jumper keeps me warm better. I have some from Monsoon, supermarkets, Apricot.

OP, for warmth you need to wear wool. Either buy new or look on eBay/Vinted if you don't mind second hand

Can I suggest you also get some good base layers?

Merino are the best but I also have Uniqlo Heattech from thin through to extra and ultra warm. So cosy!
