The perfect slipper (if you like barefoot shoes)

I want some slippers that have:

-wide toe box (barefoot shoe style)

• a thin sole that is very flexible
• are shoe/boot shape (not backless)

I've been searching but struggling! Budget up to £60 but would consider more if it meant they were the best slippers in the world (I'll wear them for hours every day).

Does anyone have similar criteria and has found comfy, warm, practical slippers?

No specific recommendations, but there's loads on Etsy. I've been looking at swanky Turkish made leather slippers as a Christmas present- pretty sure you can find something there.

Dh and dd both wear these moccasins. Over your budget, but they last for years of very heavy wear.

I'd like some too, and made from natural materials (sheep fleece/leather/cotton etc).

They make barefoot style sheepskin boots, you can order them with a slipper sole.

Sheepskin booties. I have some with a sole from Moshulu, they were last year’s Christmas present and they are still going very strong. Warm and comfortable and cosy.

Looking for cotton Japanese style slippers/house shoes. Not open backed. Muji used to do them. Not anymore.
