I realise I've left this a bit late, but I didn't know buying a pair of hold ups would be so confusing. Need a pair of nude, sheer-ish hold ups for a wedding next Saturday. Has to be hold ups as I'm disabled and can't manage tights or suspender belts. I'm only 5'2" but size 20 in dresses and I haven't worn hold ups since I was thinner years ago, so no idea what size to get. I remember buying M&S back then, but they now seem to have poor reviews for falling down.
Do I need to look for a plus size brand? Or do you curvier ladies just buy the bigger sizes in "normal" brands and hope they stretch round your thighs and aren't too long in the leg?
