Dress for an autumn wedding.

Bit stuck on where to start so asking here for any recommendations!

I have a wedding to attend in November. In a hotel/wedding venue type place not church. Dress code is smart/cocktail/formal.

I'm 5'10", size 8-10, small busted, square shoulders, long legs. Don't particularly like my middle section or tops of arms but showing neck and shoulders and legs fine. Nothing too far above the knee.

I usually go for boxy shift dresses but not too loose but happy to consider all recommendations. Buying price of around £100 (£150 for something I'd wear again) or would consider hiring something.

Thanks!

Am in similar position with dress code for winter wedding!! Just a bit shorter!
Had hoped to make something but might not be possible....
Lots of sales - Debenhams, phase 8, John Lewis etc

I'm in the same boat! I have a very bright circle skirt in an abstract print scuba that I made years ago. Thinking of getting a sequin top to go with it but also might just buy a whole dress if the right thing pops up.

Navy/gold/bright flashes of colour. Not a keen on pastels.
