Any ideas where I might be able to get a pair for my 2 year old DD?

Clarks are too ornate and clumpy. I'd like the old fashioned type ones with punched holes and crepe soles with a proper buckle (no velcro). Light not heavy. Please help.

She's a Start-rite size 8.

either an independant shoe shop, or do you have a russel and bromley near you, sometimes they do nice childrens shoes. you could also try la redoute, verbaudet or look online for other french/spanish/italian childrens shoes, they tend to be much nicer than ours!
