Real long shot I know but wondering if I might get any decent silk scarves at a good price. Not chasing the market stall ones but a real discount on UK prices.

Vakko is the Turkish brand that sells scarves.
They have a store at Istanbul airport .

Thank you! Do you know if they have a shop in Istanbul, I tried googling but can’t really make sense of the results.

I just googled and there is one in the International Terminal in the F section.
Istanbul airport is very large and I didn't shop there.

If you are staying in Istanbul there are Vakko stores located in most Turkish shopping centers.

Thanks so much, I will keep a look out for a shop over the next few days.

'Ipek' is the Turkish word for silk so you check for that on the tag.
There is another store called Silk and Cashmere that should also sell shawls and scarves.
