I am 50 and have never liked wearing my hair up. I don't like how it feels (the pulling nor the lack of hair around my head/ face/ neck) or how it looks. I have a fairly spherical head 😳🤣 and fine wavy hair. I actually really like my hair when it's down but it looks thin up - no healthy, thick rope of hair if plaited or in a pony tail, the simple options draw attention to how thin the plait/ pony tail is, which is less noticeable down because it's wavy.
However I have to wear it up for work (new special needs teaching job in which I have already had it grabbed, pulled very hard and not let go when in a 1/2 up, 1/2 down style in a clip with just the back down).
Can anyone direct me to pictures or YouTube videos of hair-up styles for fine hair which might suit a middle aged woman with a round face? Ideally not too complicated!
