Wide footed toddler shoes (not Clark’s)

Toddler measures at a 5.5 G so it’s a bit of a struggle finding shoes (mostly trainers for comfort) that fit well width wise.

Any suggestions of places to try. I live very rurally so don’t have the option of visiting shops to try. We’ve been successful with some from Next but there must be other options out there. I don’t really want to go above £30.

I know may people will suggest Clark’s but I am not convinced they are producing anything so much more superior these days, other brands look to have improved their children’s shoes. They’re also pretty expensive and in my opinion , ugly.

thanks but not really to my taste and appears quite expensive aside from the summer sale items

Start Rite are a similar price to Clark’s but have a few pairs in that size in the sale. My DD wears a half size smaller in Start Rite than in Clark’s (ie a 3 when she is a 3.5 in Clark’s)

I believe start rite give 15% off a first order of you sign up to recieving emails, also available online with M&S ( no discount)

Start Rite

My children had wide feet- we always got Elefanten shoes. I've checked and they do still exist, but I don't know if they are still wide fitting.

Have a look at John Lewis; they stock start rite, geox and Clarks and often have decent sales on

Wide fit shoes do tend to be pricier. You're probably best looking for a sale at a more expensive brand than looking for good quality wide shoes at a cheaper price.

My toddler has the exact same size, I have been getting all mine from vinted, loads on there and much cheaper!

Start rite and geox work well for my very wide footed child!

Have a look on Amazon for reduced pairs as they are both quite pricey brands.

Generally though you are, unfortunately, going to find that wide fit shoes are from the more expensive kids brands.

Start Right do wider DC sizes.
