wtf has happened to the Uniqlo website?

I don't want to browse a "lifewear" magazine or see videos of models wafting around. I don't want to read articles about timeless tones or the ins and outs of loungewear - I just want to see what dresses/tops/trousers you have for sale!!

I’ve just had a look and you’re right. WTF? I can’t even work out how to find any clothes.

You have to click on the magnifying glass apparently. But it's very non-intuitive, isn't it? You'd think you'd click on "women" at the top for the menu, but no. Style over substance for sure.

Having seen @MotherOfFiveTeens other posts this morning, I think she's just killing time until she goes back to school and sees all her mates again...

I had this - you need to click on 'women' then om search button and then it will take you where you need to go. It took me a few attempts to work this out though.

Oh god I know, I had a look the other day and gave up.

Haven't used it but I'm driven mad by online shopping. Ooh, that product has great reviews, I'll click on it. Product page appears and it's forty fathoms deep and almost entirely full of other things I might like.

Where are the details and reviews for the fecking item I clicked on? Could you not even wait for me to actually buy something before analysing my cookies or whatever and forcing other stuff down my gullet?

It's so utterly annoying.

I've just went in for my yearly "let's get something warm and cosy from uniqlo" shopping online... ??? who had he amazing idea of changing it into something so weird? It was working OK why change it -.-

I’d quite got into the Uniqlo thing after years of not getting it. Bought a few things, had my eye on a few others.

I can no longer work out how find clothes on their website. You can click on something specific (‘children’s outerwear’) or whatever the photo series of it… but I can’t work out how you find the options you previously had eg new designers or similar.

I literally know what I want and I still can’t find it.

They must be losing money because of it - how did it get past testing?

Me too!! You used to be able to ckick on search and search for your item i.e. "longline gillet" I can't find that option?

For me its Zara😡. Swipe down instead of across to look drives me mad. Why does it have to be different to every other app?

Quite a few sites/apps have had updates recently, which is great…once you are used to them!

Ffs I wish I’d read this last night, I was trying to order a bag and then thought I’d add some other stuff to avoid postage and maybe get myself some layers for winter. No clue how to find anything so just ended up buying the bag and paying for postage. Shit website!

Agree - it's really not intuitive.

For those who don't know, you have to click on the category at the top (Women, Men, etc) and then click on the magnifying glass at the bottom.

I find the H&M one even worse. Again, click on the category at the top and then click on the two tiny lines on the top left hand side! You barely even notice them! Who thought that was a good idea?

I've seen many comments about the Uniqlo website and have had loads of problems. Basically I think they just want you to use their App, I could, but I choose to look at a larger image. After several conversations with Customer Services I don't think they are interested in making the website work for ordering. When I go to the Cart I just get a blank page despite following every single thing they asked me to try. I told them "it's goodbye Uniqlo until you fix it as there are no shops locally and you cannot order on the phone". They said they would pass it on to IT but all I got was an email saying you haven't replied to our email, which they have yet to send!

It’s so interesting coming across this thread- I’m so glad it’s not just me! I’ve only just recently rediscovered Uniqlo, and I had a quick look at their website the other day- I actually ended up giving up. It really shouldn’t be this difficult!
I think they just want you to download their app, but as someone who buys the vast majority of clothes online I REALLY don’t want an app for every single online shop I might want to visit. Sorry Uniqlo, but there are plenty of other companies that make it far easier to spend your money with them!

I'm objectively tech savvy, but couldn't work out the mechanics of the new website either.
