Levis jeans: unbelievably comfy

I suppose this is hardly shattering news but recently bought some Levis after years of buying M and S and Zara, and they are so much better.

Soft, comfy and the wide leg is not too wide.( I bought a straight leg too). I had mostly given up on jeans in menopause as they just seemed too restrictive and uncomfortable round the middle but these are like wearing elasticated joggers. So glad to get back into jeans.

I bought some 501 90s style from Next clearance, they are very comfy, a bit wider than the normal 501s and they do come up a bit bigger. It's worth looking on Next clearance as they have a few pairs of different ones

Wait until you try Paige! I'm saving up for a pair.

Try Vinted. I've got 3 pairs of Paige Mayslie joggers (RRP £250) off Vinted for £20-£40 a pair. Also got a pair of Paige Cindy crop (RRP £200) for £25. Vinted is brilliant for getting expensive stuff at high st prices

I've been twice to my local Levis store and the customer service was excellent, really friendly and keen to help and find you something that suited but no pressure either.

Yes, unfortunately I haven't seen the style that suits me in my size on there yet but I am keeping an eye out.

I totally agree about the customer service at Levi

I tried the 724 jeans earlier this year ended up buying another 2 pairs in grey and black off Vinted, don’t think any of them were over £25 and one still had labels on.

They are straight fit but not too skinny - love them and can’t see myself ever wearing anything else now after 30 years of M&S jeans.

I love vintage 501s as they have no stretch and were made of thicker denim. I size up as sizing was smaller and they were made to shrink and fit. It's recommended that you wear them at least 11 times before washing so they mould to your body. I bought some 501s last year in a Levis discount store and they were manufactured in a different country to the jeans manufactured in high street store. The denim is thinner even though fit is the same. I probably have about 15 pairs that I have bought over the last 20 years including 2 pairs of lovely ribcage Levis. I think they look great on all shapes of women, the back pocket design is placed in just the right place on the bum and is the correct size unlike other brands. I have also worn out about 10 pairs in the last 30 years but that's not many considering the length of time. I've tried the men's 501s also, but find them uncomfortable as lower waist and tighter round hips and bum.
