Please help me with what to wear with this dress!

Hello lovelies, I’m very out of my depth here, so asking for help!

I am solo attending a wedding at the end of September, not confident about it and I’m considering this dress but don’t know how to style it!

It’s a wedding in Scotland, church then Marquee at the golf club so could be chilly!

I am 42, short, size 16 with a c-section tummy to hide and tried this dress today and thought it looked ok.

On the website, the model wears it with navy heels, which I have. I’d like to but doubt I could wear my comfortable flats… or could I?
Also what colour jacket would you all suggest? Definitely need a jacket as I think I’ll be cold!

And jewellery colour - white gold?

I’d go for nude accessories and gold or rose gold
jewellery but that probably depends a bit more on your colouring.

I’ve never been a pointy shoe or stiletto fan. A flatform or slight wedge would be comfy, without being too sensible, something like these?

And a jacket like this? Or this one?

Not those sandals. You can wear flats, but they need to be dressy. There's loads on here

That dress will look better on someone with a small bust. Just saying in case that's not your case.

I’d wear a gold or cream jacket picking out the base colour in the dress. I think Navy might look a bit like a uniform. You can definitely wear ballet style flats or a slight wedge with that dress, no need for heels.

Id wear a big bangle or cuff and a collar style necklace with that neckline.

Thank you all, I’m sure I’ve a pair of nude low heels that would work, if not I really like those @GettingStuffed suggested.
@farfromideal I’m proportionally busted so it didn’t look awful on; possibly draws the eye to the bust slightly but not extraordinarily so!
